Last Thursday, November 21st, Denia, Alicante, hosted the 43º Premios José Marsal Caballero, organized by Denia FM RadioThis event, with a significant regional impact, pays tribute to the effort, dedication, and excellence of the local community.

As a specialist in branding and graphic design, participating in an event of this magnitude was a unique opportunity to apply my vision on building visual experiences that connect emotionally with the public and reinforce the brand's graphic identity.

Creating the Graphic Identity of the Gala

From the Department of Communication and Digital Creativity of holaGRUPWe had the privilege of designing the graphic identity for this very special gala. Our objective was clear: to capture the essence of the event and translate it into a graphic narrative that reflected the duality between tradition and modernity.

The Graphic Concept: Tradition and Future in Harmony

The gala addressed a key theme: the convergence between traditional media and artificial intelligence (AI)This concept permeated both the speeches and the visual aesthetics of the event. This is how we managed to bring it to life:

  1. Inspiring Set Design:
    We designed a stage divided into two halves:

    • One that evoked the past, with a vintage style that honored traditional media.
    • Another futuristic and technological one, representing the impact of AI in the present and the future.
  2. Dual Graphic Identity:
    We used a combination of classic elements and technological details to convey this duality. We maintained a consistent visual connection with previous editions, ensuring continuity in the event's identity.

  3. Audiovisual Production:
    We integrate iconic photographs and videos with technological effects, highlighting key moments and adding dynamism to the visual experience.

Promotional Materials: A Consistent Visual Ecosystem

To accompany every moment of the event, we designed a variety of promotional materialsensuring cohesion at all points of visual contact:

  • Photocall: Designed specifically to highlight photos of attendees alongside sponsor logos.
  • Graphics for Social Networks and Screens: Materials designed to promote the event before, during and after its celebration.
  • Visual Recap: A post-event visual compilation that captured the highlights and emotions of the night.

More than Design: A Brand Experience

The gala not only celebrated awards, but also fundamental values ​​such as perseverance, commitment to the community, and human achievement. As a graphic designer, my mission in this project was not simply to create attractive graphics, but to convey a unique experience that would emotionally connect with the audience and reflect the essential values ​​of the event.

These types of projects reinforce my belief that design is much more than a communication tool; it is a way of telling stories, building connections, and creating visual identities that transcend time.
